2026/09: Our Group Presents and Contributes at TBPET 2026

By | September 21, 2026

Congratulations to our group members for their active participation in the 2026 Total-Body PET Conference.

Xiaoyu Duan gave an oral presentation titled “Total-Body PET Quantification of FDG Delivery Rates to Immune Organs in Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD).” This work investigated FDG delivery rates to immune organs and their relationship with liver inflammation in MASLD, highlighting the value of total-body PET for multiorgan kinetic quantification.

Siqi Li presented “Total-Body PET Parametric Imaging in Children.” This work focused on translating Relative Patlak parametric imaging to pediatric patients, aiming to enable practical PET parametric imaging in children using clinically feasible scan protocols.

Yansong Zhu shared work titled “Total-body parametric imaging of PSMA tracer delivery rate in prostate cancer patients with time delay correction and model selection.” This study explored total-body parametric imaging of PSMA tracer delivery in prostate cancer and evaluated the technical impact of time-delay correction and model selection.

Khoa Tran gave an oral presentation titled “Incorporating vascular trapping into high-temporal resolution kinetic modeling for quantitative PET of blood-brain barrier permeability.” Big congratulations to Khoa for being selected as a finalist for the ECR award, a notable recognition of his active participation in the conference as an undergraduate researcher.

Quyen Tran presented a poster titled “A new optimization algorithm for total-body kinetic modeling with dynamic PET.” This work proposed an improved optimization algorithm for total-body PET kinetic parameter estimation and compared its performance with conventional Levenberg–Marquardt fitting.

In addition to the scientific presentations, Yansong Zhu and Anahita Tavakoli served as conference volunteers and helped with meeting logistics throughout the event.

Congratulations to all presenters and volunteers for their excellent contributions to TBPET 2026. Their participation reflected the group’s active engagement in the total-body PET community and contributed to a successful conference!
