We are pleased to share that Dr. Siqi Li, Assistant Project Scientist in our lab, has received his first NIH R01 award to develop practical PET parametric imaging methods for pediatric cancer imaging.
The project will translate the Relative Patlak method for pediatric PET to enable kinetic quantification from clinically feasible scans without extending routine imaging time. The work will focus on total-body PET, clinical evaluation in pediatric cancer patients, and adaptation to conventional short-axial PET scanners.
This award is an important milestone for Dr. Li and advances our lab’s broader efforts in quantitative molecular imaging. Congratulations to Siqi on this exciting achievement!
Co-investigators on this grant include Drs. Guobao Wang, Lorenzo Nardo, Marcio Malogolowkin, Jinyi Qi, Ramsey Badawi, Benjamin Spencer, and Yasser Abdelhafez.
