Congratulations to Dr. Yansong Zhu for receiving a UC Davis Academic Federation Innovative Development Award from the Committee on Research.
Yansong’s awarded project, “Development of ED/EAN Imaging from Standard PET-CT Using PET-Enabled DECT,” will support a pilot feasibility study on estimating electron density (ED) and effective atomic number (EAN) using the PET-enabled dual-energy CT approach.
The award provides $20,000 in support over two years to generate preliminary feasibility data to help support future extramural funding efforts in this new research direction. Congratulations Yansong!
